My cousin is moving to Toronto because the American health care system can be an absolute joke. I drove up to Lynden to see her off. And pulled half way off the road to grab this shot.

I went to a Peak 7 BBQ today, Saturday the 6th (that's right, I'm caught up on my blog!!!)

There was some volleyball to be had. Note: Always have Ashley on your team.

An amazing sunset in Tacoma. It just kept evolving into something more and more breathtaking as it progressed.

...a perfect summer day!

After a road trip, vacation, another weekend gone, and my regular schedule... I'm running seriously behind on laundry at the moment.

Railroad tracks that run along Schuster Way in Tacoma. This is one of my favorite pics that I've taken in quite some time.

I, however, do plan on jumping off of this pier sometime in the near future.

Happy Memorial Day!!!

Peak 7 had 48 people compete in: cross country skiing, downhill skiing, running, road bike, canoe, mountain bike, and sea kayak. Up at 4:30 am and racing throughout the day. It was a pretty incredible thing to be a part of.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Peak 7 over Memorial Weekend as they competed in the Ski to Sea marathon to raise funds for their group. Peak 7 is a nonprofit serving underprivileged and at-risk youth by taking them out into the wilderness.

I had an amazing time with them and am definitely gong to become more involved with this organization!

Driving past one of my favorite buildings in Tacoma. It's old and not cared for but has so much character!

We had breakfast one more time at Waffle House. Poe's for lunch. Swimming in the Atlantic and the pool. Lounging. Laughing. And flying home.

Day Four: Tourist Day!

Breakfast at the Waffle House. OMG... Amazing.

Then off to a tea plantation.

The Angel Tree is over 1500 years old and absolutely awe inspiring.

Cannon riding at The Battery.

Driving home after exploring Charleston.

I don't know how I feel about this new Alice in Wonderland mural that is downtown. It's impressive, and crazy, and half of it is in fluorescent paint.
